Augmentity is committed to serving our customers and the environment simultaneously.  We have adopted policies that allow our employees to be sensitive to the environmental impacts of all our corporate activities. We endeavor to be an environmentally responsible neighbor in the communities where we operate.

As a regional firm with a national and global perspective, we recognize the wider context in which we function. Augmentity embraces the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and recognizes it as an integral part of our corporate philosophy. CSR for us means three things:

  • Supporting our local community
  • Protecting the environment and promoting environmentally friendly practices
  • Supporting the wider global community 

Energy Management – Ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business, including conserving energy, improving energy efficiency, and giving preference to renewable over non-renewable energy sources when feasible. We continuously strive to raise energy awareness among Augmentity employees.

Waste Reduction and Recycling - Conserve natural resources by reusing and recycling materials, purchasing recycled materials, and using recyclable packaging and other materials. Minimizing the generation of waste and implementing recycling initiatives.

Alternative Transportation - Provides Augmentity employees with the information, resources, and incentives to help them choose an alternative method of commuting to Augmentity sites.

RoHS Compliance - With its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, on February 13, 2003, the European Union adopted Directive 2002/95/EC. The Directive restricts and prohibits the use of various heavy metals, in new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market from July 1, 2006.

Augmentity is fully committed to supporting customers with high-quality products that comply with the RoHS directive.  We continuously work with our suppliers to assure that products we integrate, distribute or utilize meet or exceed the standards set forth by RoHS regulations.

SUPPORTING THE WIDER GLOBAL COMMUNITY
Augmentity is an active supporter of the Fair Trade movement.  We make every effort to utilize Fair Trade branded products that support fair price and fair labor conditions for the people that produce the products.
